Welcome to CARMIC.CON® – The American Itasha Association. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, services, memberships, programs, community activities, and other offerings provided directly by CARMIC.CON®.
By accessing or using our website, creating an account, purchasing a membership or product, submitting a vehicle or other content, or participating in a CARMIC.CON® program or community display, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About CARMIC.CON®
CARMIC.CON® – The American Itasha Association is a community organization dedicated to celebrating automotive artistic expression and pop-culture-inspired vehicles, including Itasha and related automotive art and culture.
CARMIC.CON® may participate in, support, collaborate with, vend at, promote, or organize community displays and vehicle showcases within conventions, car shows, festivals, and other events operated by independent organizations.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, CARMIC.CON® is not the producer, owner, promoter, venue operator, or ticket seller for these third-party events.
2. Website Use
You may use this website for lawful personal and community-related purposes.
You agree not to use the website to:

3. Memberships & Subscriptions
CARMIC.CON® may offer free or paid memberships and subscription services.
Paid memberships may be billed on a monthly or annual basis and may automatically renew until canceled.
Members may cancel an eligible subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but generally does not provide a refund or prorated credit for a billing period that has already begun.
Unless otherwise stated, membership benefits remain available through the end of the paid billing period following cancellation.

4. Merchandise & Purchases
Products, merchandise, memberships, registrations, and other items may be offered through our website.
Prices, availability, designs, descriptions, and offerings may change without notice.
All merchandise sales are final, except where otherwise stated by CARMIC.CON® or required by applicable law.
Problems involving damaged, incorrect, or improperly fulfilled orders should be reported to us so that we can review the circumstances.

5. Third-Party Events, Conventions & Tickets
CARMIC.CON® frequently works with conventions, event organizers, promoters, venues, community organizations, and other third parties to provide community displays, vehicle showcases, exhibits, vendor appearances, and related activities.
Our participation in or promotion of an event does not mean CARMIC.CON® owns, produces, operates, or controls that event.
Unless CARMIC.CON® expressly identifies itself as the producer and seller of admission for a particular event, tickets and admission are sold and administered by the applicable event organizer, promoter, venue, ticketing provider, or other third party.
Purchases made from these third parties—including admission tickets, VIP packages, parking, vendor fees, hotel packages, or other event-related purchases—are subject to that third party's terms, conditions, refund policies, and cancellation policies.
CARMIC.CON® is not responsible for third-party:

Ticket refunds or reimbursements.

Event cancellations or postponements.

Schedule or programming changes.

Admission decisions.

Venue policies or restrictions.

Parking or transportation.

Hotel or travel expenses.

Lost or stolen property.

Questions or disputes regarding a purchase made from another organization must be directed to the organization or service from which the purchase was made.
6. Community Displays & Vehicle Participation
Participation in a CARMIC.CON® community display, showcase, or related activity may be subject to additional requirements established by CARMIC.CON®, the event organizer, venue, fire marshal, governmental authority, or other responsible party.
Participants are responsible for following all applicable event and venue requirements.
These may include requirements concerning vehicle movement, fuel levels, battery disconnection, load-in and load-out schedules, insurance, safety, prohibited items, conduct, display materials, and other operational requirements.
Selection or acceptance into a CARMIC.CON® display does not guarantee admission to, continued participation in, or any particular placement within a third-party event.
7. Community Standards
CARMIC.CON® is intended to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and family-friendly community.
We reserve the right to decline, remove, or restrict participation in CARMIC.CON®-controlled programs, online spaces, displays, or activities when conduct or content is reasonably determined to be unsafe, unlawful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, intentionally disruptive, or inconsistent with applicable event requirements or published community standards.
8. Photos, Videos & Content
CARMIC.CON® may photograph or record vehicles, displays, activities, and public-facing portions of events for promotional, editorial, archival, social media, and community purposes, subject to applicable law and event policies.
Vehicle owners, artists, photographers, cosplayers, and other creators may retain rights in their respective original works.
Submitting content to CARMIC.CON® does not transfer ownership of your intellectual property unless a separate written agreement specifically states otherwise.
When you voluntarily submit photographs, videos, vehicle information, testimonials, or other content for publication or promotion, you represent that you have the necessary rights or permission to provide that material and authorize CARMIC.CON® to use it for the purposes for which it was submitted.
9. Intellectual Property
The CARMIC.CON® name, logos, branding, website materials, graphics, original designs, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to CARMIC.CON®, as applicable.
Third-party names, characters, artwork, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Reference to or display of third-party intellectual property does not necessarily indicate sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or ownership by CARMIC.CON®.
10. Third-Party Websites & Services
Our website may contain links to websites, ticketing platforms, social media services, payment processors, event organizers, vendors, or other third-party services.
CARMIC.CON® does not control these third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, terms, products, or services.
