Anime Car Show | Houston Comicpalooza

It's that time and I hope you are ready my friends....

The 2022 Registration for Comicpalooza's Anime Car Show is officially open, and we invite you to submit your vehicle(s) for consideration in this year's Comicpalooza Comic Convention's Anime Car Show.

Houston Comicpalooza is one of the largest comic conventions is the state Texas, with an average attendace ranging between 40,000 and 50,000 people over the weekend of the Comic Convetion. Google the stats for yourself if you don't beleive us.  

Our 2022 Itasha Showdown: A Car Runway Experience will be back at the George R. Brown Convention Center bigger and better. Some of the coolest cars in America will come back to exhibit with us and compete for our best of show championship belt.  This sight is one to see.

Again "Best of show" and "Fan Favorite" will receive a cash prizes plus other select catagories will receive trophy’s and prizes to be awarded on the last day of the convention.  So if you are up for some pure fun and a cool challenge, then sign up and come on over to Houston, Texas to have one great time with us.

Just a heads-up, cars must be parked in the GRB on Friday July 15th and pulled out on Sunday after the exhibit floor closes.

Additional Information

• This pre-registration application is required.  Only a few select vehicles will be accepted for both display positions and standby positions at this year’s convention.  Each vehicle displayed on the floor will get 2 exhibitor pass per vehicle.  Additional exhibitor passes for those vehicles can be purchased for cover price of regular tickets at the time of the show.
• Do not forget to submit two high quality photos of your vehicle to info@carmiccon.com with a short biography about the vehicle and driver. If selected, you will be sent a link to fill out a vehicle application and waiver via the convention’s official website.
• A set of keys properly tagged for identification of you and your vehicle must be left with the event facility while the vehicle is on display.  Bring a second set of keys if you will need access to your vehicle for cleaning and prep during the car show.
• Photos of any floor displays must be submitted for prior approval.
• Once a vehicle is parked on the convention floor, it cannot be moved again until convention ends.
• No vendor type activities or for sale signs will be allowed. You must purchase a booth with the convention‘s vendor support team separately from the car show.
